2 USB Connections
DB9-USB modules are downstream USB 2.0 Devices. A “USB mini B” receptacle is mounted inside the
modules to facilitate connection to an upstream USB Host or Hub.

VBUS – USB Power provided from upstream USB Host or Hub

D– = USB data signal, negative polarity
3
D+ = USB data signal, positive polarity
4
Not Connected
5
GND = USB signal ground
Shield
Drain = typically connected to the host PC case
