JK Audio BlueSet 4-Pin & 5-Pin

Wireless Headset Interface

JK Audio introduces the BlueSet™ series of intercom headset

adapters using Bluetooth Wireless Technology. These headset interfaces plug di-

ectly into most Party-Line (PL) belt packs, replacing the wired headset. A 3.5

mm stereo headset jack contains a mic level output signal suitable for recording,

with the beltpack headphone signal on the left channel, and the Bluetooth return

signal on the right. A switch selects between connection to a 3rd party Bluetooth

eadset or a cell phone. Headset Connect: Pair BlueSet to your Bluetooth head-

set. Leave your belt pack on the desk as you walk around the room. Some Blue-

ooth headsets allow you to switch between two phones, or in this case, switch

between your intercom and your cell phone. Phone Connect: Pair BlueSet to

your cell phone to extend your system around the world. The belt pack Mic/Talk

button controls audio from the cell phone into the intercom system.

set that matched the performance of our BlueSet. The maximum range of Bluetooth

connectivity on most mobile phones is only 10 ft, consequently, most headsets

were designed to work well within this tight circle. Outside of this circle, they ex-

erience dropouts and noise that render the connection useless. The full range of

a Bluetooth connection is determined by the weaker of the two paired devices. We

ested several headsets that slyly feature ranges that exceed the range of your

hone. Although some models offered ranges up to 30 ft, there were often

compromises in quality, comfort, and performance. We weren't willing to ac-

cept this sacrifice.

here are many attributes that contribute to the performance of a Bluetooth headset. The range, voice quality, back-

round noise suppression, and battery life of our new BSET-HS1 have been optimized for use with the JK Audio Blue-

Set series. BSET-HS1 is compatible with any standard Bluetooth device that supports the Headset profile. We can't

promise great distances with thousands of models of mobile phones when the phone may be the limiting factor. We

CAN promise excellent sound quality and extended range when used with the JK Audio BlueSet series.
